The BMA-720P is a fully automated prismatic cell module assembly line engineered for high-volume battery module production. Delivering 720 PCS/H throughput with ±0.2mm visual inspection accuracy and ≥99% yield rate, it combines intelligent automation with full digital traceability for EV, energy storage and industrial battery manufacturing.

Production Process Flow

The BMA-720P covers the complete module assembly process from prismatic cell feeding to finished module output:

  • Cell Loading & Sorting: Automated cell feeding with OCV/IR sorting and grading to ensure cell consistency within each module
  • Cell Stacking & Positioning: Precision robotic stacking with automatic alignment and gap control
  • Busbar Welding: Laser or ultrasonic welding with real-time weld monitoring and quality verification
  • Visual Inspection: Multi-camera optical inspection at each critical station — weld quality, cell alignment, insulation integrity — with ±0.2mm accuracy
  • Module Testing: Automated electrical testing including insulation resistance, voltage verification and HiPot testing
  • Module Coding & Traceability: Laser marking of unique serial numbers and QR codes for full production data traceability

Intelligent Automation Features

  • Flexible Quick Changeover: Modular station design with recipe-based changeover supports multiple cell formats and module configurations without hardware changes.
  • MES/ERP Full Integration: Real-time production data streaming to MES and ERP systems via OPC-UA and REST API. Complete digital twin of production status, quality metrics and material consumption.
